My first day
I had the first day jitters just like it was my first day at work. Heather and I went to starbux and I left her there to take the bus into the city. She had plans to shop, sitesee, and then meet up with some friends (Barry and Felicia) later on in the evening.
I went by and picked up the guys at their hotel. I stayed at another hotel... it was half the price of theirs, and although I get reimbursed I felt $149 a night was insane. My Best Western was very nice, clean, and quiet. It was a "suite" with a couch, desk, fridge, microwave, and a big ole bed.
We got to the office and were greeted by a friendly bunch. We had meeting after meeting, and they provided us lunch.
On Monday there were 3 of us from New York there. We had several projects to discuss, and believe me... there was alot of discussing going on. My part of the discussions turned out to be huge, and they were excited I was there. They want me to do several big projects for them, but I am not sure their plans fit into the plans that New York has for me. Boy I sure hope it does. Their stuff sounds like alot of fun!
