And the Countdown Begins

Well… I feel much more at ease today. I am getting things done – hammered out the relocation questions I had (when they said “everything but the kitchen sink” they meant it), went for my pre employment physical, found an extended stay hotel with free wireless internet (apparently hard to find) to stay in for a couple of weeks, devised a plan for house hunting, convinced another project team that they just HAD to have me do the interface on their project, and made Jim happy with all my news!

I even saw the sunrise this morning.

It is supposed to be pretty clear on Saturday, so I think I am going to go out and take pictures of some of my favorite houses here. That is something I will miss about this place - all the old houses and buildings. But maybe we can get an old house of our own. I will also miss the lack of traffic.

Mom and I are going to have so much fun! I need to find some places along the way for us to get all touristee at. Jim established that the Lawrence Welk museum is actually only his childhood home. Any suggestions? I think we are going the northern route along I90. We can just shoot across the country - we have to do some site seeing. Help!

Oh and it is 8 days until I leave for Indiana to get my mommy and my infiniti to start my new adventure!
