The weekend

Mom and dad are in San Diego visiting Bucky. They had a good, but long trip down there. They tried the scenic 101 for awhile, but around San Francisco they ran into tons of fog. But of course! They went down Rodeo Drive, went through Hollywood, and drove smack through LA. They were impressed by all the huge houses. I'd love to see it. I guess I'll get my chance when I make the treck down to see Bucky. They got into San Diego yesterday, and they are going to stay through until Monday, and then head back. I think it is great that they drove and get to see so much of California. Well I guess they see it from stem to stern!

James and I are basically celebrating the sale of the house all weekend... heck... we may never stop celebrating!!!! We are going to a party tonight at the house of the guy that own's the engineering firm James works at. I'm kind of nervous. I don't want to embarass him. But I am excited to get to meet all the people he works with.

James and I have gotten all of our car insurance and home owner's insurance changed over to Oregon, and now it is time to get Oregon driver's licenses and get the cars registered. We are bummed that Oregon has front license plates, neither of our cars have holes for them to be mounted on... our front bumpers are smooth. So we have to have holes put in them. Great! Something else on my car for me to hit!!!
