Doing the Downtown Thing

After work, Paul and I went downtown to some cool record stores. He likes old records, classical, etc. and they had a bunch. There was one really big store, Everyday Music, but it seemed like their stuff was really picked over. Still I managed to find a cd I wanted. We then went down to Powell's books - check them out, and got some cool drinks. We didn't nose around to much in the books, but we were pointed to another location a couple of blocks down... Powell's Technical Books. I had never been in that one before. I was in heaven. They had a bunch of geeky stuff.

We then went down to the Pearl District and met James for dinner. We ate at Caffe mingo and we got to sit outside on the sidewalk. It was a nice cool night, the food and the dinner companions were nice.
