So sad to leave...
My time with Heather was way too short. Sherman and I said goodbye Sunday morning about 9am and headed for San Diego. I was sad to leave. It had been nice, clear, and sunny while I was in San Fransisco, but it was very foggy when I left - San Fransisco style.
The drive from San Fransisco to LA was pretty boring. Well actually very boring. Finally I got to the Angeles National Forest, and the terrain got much more interesting. It was pretty wild to have I-5 with 4 lanes each way run through a pretty extreme mountain range. They had warnings telling motorists to turn off their air conditioning, and there were stops along the way that had water for radiators. It was pretty weird. Finally coming into LA was interesting. You basically see nothing from the interstate. The cars did get nicer though. It was very georgeous driving from LA to San Diego. The sun was setting and the interstate ran right along the coast. I managed to make it to San Diego with some daylight left, and I made it to Holly's condo unscathed around 5:30.
I got to meet Holly (Bucky's girlfriend) and her dog Apple, got settled in, and then headed to dinner with Holly and Bucky. We went to a sushi restaurant and had a good time. I was anxious to meet Holly. Mom and Dad had met her a few months ago when they went down to San Diego to visit Bucky. So now it was my turn to test her out and give her my seal of approval. Hahaha. She seemed really nervous at dinner, but we had alot of fun.
