Viva Le San Fransisco

I got into San Francisco about 7pm Friday night. I finally made it through the very chaotic toll booth fiasco on the Bay Bridge. I headed toward Heather's apartment and promptly got lost. Heather walked me through an alternate route, and Sherman and I made it to her welcoming hugs. We went out for a nice dinner and coffee. Of course we stayed up WAY too late talking and giggling. The next morning we went to yummy Harvey's restaurant for breakfast. We went back and visited with Kimberly, Alex, and Ada. Kimberly was due to give birth to daughter number 2 any day. They live upstairs from Heather, and told us that Sherman was very unhappy when we left him the night before and cried the whole time. Whoops! He is not used to being alone. He got to meet Ada, Kimberly and Alex's absolutely adorable little girl. Sherman really did not know what to do with her. He is not used to kids. It was funny to watch them together.

Heather, Sherman and I then headed to Sunnyvale to visit my second set of parents - heather's parents. The drive was beautiful, and we had a nice lunch with them. It was good to catch up a little. I had not seen them in far too long. Too bad heather's sister, Bryn, and the two little boogers had already left for Knoxville for thanksgiving.

We then went back to Heather's and got all dolled up to meet Corey, one of heather's friends, for dinner. We hunted down a cab and met him at Nopa for a really nice dinner. The three of us then went to Bobby's Owl Tree for drinks, and then went to another place to meet some of Corey's friends. After a short time Heather and I were pooped and took a cab back home. I'm really not used to the cab thing, but it was fun. And convenient.
