The best day ever… the afternoon

So the day continued with a nice long nap. Ahhhh. We needed it after all that hard work. I had heard that they had just opened a sonic over in Hillsboro, so we went to check it out. It is the first Sonic in the REGION. No, we did not even have the option to road trip to one. We had gone the other night, but the line was wrapped around the building. Yes... I said line. This time there was only one car in front of us. Let me start off by saying - these people don't know about Sonic. They don't know what to do or how it works. They had 2 lines. One for drive-thru and one for drive-in. They had directions posted as you waited in line. We were released to go to a stall by a sonic cop, and we settled in for our tater tots, grilled cheese, and cherry limeaide. It was so funny to watch the people. Some of them were standing outside of their cars, they didn't know what to do. Our car hop was so funny. She was from TX and was so glad we appreciated the glory of Sonic. We bonded with her over Sonics and Waffle Houses - also something we don't have here. You don't know what you've got until it is gone.
