Home... for less than 72 hours

The rest of the Chicago trip was uneventful. The gang in Chicago are always nice. They moved to a fancy new building which makes me a little jealous... huge offices and a huge building they share with Siemens among others. They even have a large cafeteria. The salad bar was pretty good. My only consolation is that at least we have a starbux within walking distance of our office in Beaverton.

I found out I have to leave Monday morning for a training class in NY. I'll have the weekend at home which is cool since Jim's sister Kate is in town. I haven't seen her in a long time. Too long. She is so much fun!

We worked on some final touch-ups to the rental house. The Chemdry people are coming tuesday to do the carpets, and the landlord is coming into town next Saturday, then we will be officially free of it. I'll kinda be sad, but despite not being in town too much, I really like our new house. It feels really comfortable.... I may even say homey. I can't wait til we have things unpacked and in order.
