Going to the Fillmore

Thursday afternoon Heather and I headed into the city. We met her sister Susan, brother in law Bryn, and friend Lauren at the Elite Cafe for dinner. We had a great time at dinner, and then we walked down to the Fillmore to see the Old 97's concert. I had never been to the Fillmore. It was pretty cool. They had memorabilia of the bands that had played there all over the walls. The concert was really good, they put on a good show.

I never connected that the Elite Cafe might have some relationship to the Fillmore since it used to be called the Elite Club a long time ago. Interesting. It was really funny at the restaurant... it was one of those places where they refold your napkin and place it on your seat if you leave the table.
