Moving from NY

Well it was a bit sad leaving Syracuse, but it is not like I'm not coming back at the beginning of April! I have a trip planned to go back for work. My boss says I'll go back about once a month. So I get to see spring and summer!

I had my new employee "welcome" lunch on thursday. Our team sat down for a really nice meal at the lodge. It was so pretty. We had the main dining room to ourselves (it holds 450 people), and we sat at a table next to the stone fireplace. It was so pretty with the huge windows overlooking the trout pond. They rent out the lodge for weddings so the pond consequently has trout AND goldfish in it. One of the wedding receptions had goldfish in their centerpeices, and as the evening wore on, the men started having goldfish swallowing contests, so the women released them into the pond to save them. Free Willy!

Then on friday I had my "good-bye" lunch. The guys took me to the Red Rooster Inn, and treated me to a nice 2 hour lunch filled with belly laughs and funny stories. I sure am going to miss playing with those guys everyday. I guess I'll just have to gather another group in Oregon!
