Mayflies, oh my!

Apparently it is the height of Mayfly season here in New York. It is pretty incredible to see. I looked them up on the internet, and they are a sign of clean water... and they do not sting. Good thing they are here, it makes me feel better. They get their water from the spring-fed skaneateles lake, and they don't filter it because they say it is so clean.

The weather has been pretty good here. Hot and humid, but there is a nice breeze. I did a presentation yesterday at work, then I took off and went walking around. There are so many tourists here in town. I knew the finger lakes were a tourist attraction, but I guess I never really took it seriously.

We are having our team puttputt tournament today. It shall prove to be hot, but fun. I work with a fun bunch of guys.
