Texas

After a leisurely morning of hilarity and breakfast, the girls and I went over to a drug research place in Austin. It was really cool. I knew companies tested their drugs and had to do trials, but I guess I had never really thought about HOW they did it. These guys run the studies and gather the data for companies. It was really cool.

After that we drove up to Killeen and went to a hospital so morgana could get ready for training the next day. It was a really nice facility. Hospitals make me nervous usually, but this was not so bad.

Afterwards Brooke and I went to a groovy place called HEB. It is kinda like a grocery store – drug store – general merchandise combo. It was fun! We picked up cookies for training bait.

Then we went to another crazy dinner and proceeded to rumble around causing trouble.

Hell it was hot… over 100. Hot and HUMID. It was very much like TN. It was really nice though to get a taste of the south again. Good iced tea, nice accents, and sweet people. Yes TX is very different from TN. It just looks different.

I think I slipped into southern accent mode while I was there. Okay, I know I did.
