Deck the Halls

Mom and Dad come over to decorate the tree today. I hadn't seen them in awhile so it was really nice. We started by having lunch, of course. Then we sat around and watched James put the lights on the tree. Well we didn't just sit around... we gave him instruction and verbal assistance. He was very patient though. We ended up putting 1200 lights on the tree. So my purchase of 1400 lights wasn't too far off. I'll just take the rest to work and decorate my cube for xmas. Then we started putting the ornaments on. The dogs weren't very helpful. We were concerned that we wouldn't have enough ornaments, but we filled the tree.

When we were done decorating the real fun began. We tried to get "family" photos. The dogs were not cooperative... even when we tried to bribe them with treats. Really that just served to get them all riled up. Then the rest of us became uncooperative. It became an oportunity to act up for the camera. So... if you let me take the photos... I'll post them!
