Hawthorne Bridge

The Hawthorne bridge is one of several that cross the Williamette river that runs through town. It is a metal mesh drawbridge that has a segemnt in the middle that lifts straight up so the huge ships can get through. I had never been caught by the drawbridge before, it was cool.
