The furnace

This is an oil furnace in the house on 39th. Apparently oil heat is very common here. Creepy. The tanks are usually in the ground. When you buy a house you have to be careful and have the ground around the tank tested. If there is cintamination, the area has to be remediated, and it is pretty expensive.
