Abuse Part 2

Abuse Part 1

Laughing

This is one of my favorite photos of him I think.

Sailboats out on the Columbia River

Another view from our table. There was alot of activity out on the river.

The Vancouver bridge in the sunset

We watched it while we ate dinner.

The view from the restaurant in Vancouver

How sweet!

James and Vic

... waiting for a table.

Perfect Paula Jeans

I just thought this was funny. Spoon jeans... and the front rise is different from the back rise.

Nothing like a girl fight

We were out front of the Bux in Vancouver, and a fake tussel broke out between Jill and Victoria. It was like watching the Glo-Girls rasslin'. It was hysterical.

Jill chillin' in her new shades

Pope Paper Dolls?

Does he ever change outfits? Sounds like the most boring paper doll ever.

Vic's Charlie's Angels/Chips pose

Getting a smooch from Jill the Flirty Clown

Vah-vah-vooooom!

Breakfast Martinis

I took the girls to the Caillac Cafe for breakfast. It was yummy of course. I am always impressed with their breakfast martini selection, and I love the play on words.

Gals Around Town

I took the girls downtown Portland to do some shopping, and hang out. It was freaking hot. Jill and Victoria loved the cool old houses down there – as do I. Afterward we went to Vancouver and hung out and did some people watching. Jill and Victoria got a bit crazy - okay we were egging them on. Then we met James for dinner at a restaurant on the Columbia River. It was a gorgeous evening, and it had cooled off nicely. We scored a table out on the patio by the water so we got to watch the sun go down and all the sail boats.

Vic livin' it up in Boring!

On the way home

We went through the town of Boring Oregon. This was the glass in a bus stop.

Hey!

Dead Little Fishie

They do alot of fishing off of the dock. I guess this little guy was a casualty.

The other side of the lake

Mt Hood from Trillium Lake

The lake was beautiful!

Sweet little monks taking pictures

Monking around

We freaked out when we spotted the monks. They just seemed so out of place. It is funny the photo is of them in front of the bathrooms and a powerade machine.

Ahhhh, the perils of modern culture.

Naughty Girl!

The after effects of sitting in the snow.

We could see Trillium Lake from Mt Hood

Group Photo!

The view from Mt Hood

So Gnar

Someone had written in snow, very largely I must mention - So Gnar.

Any ideas on what it refers to are welcome.

A nice sticker on the ski lift

Happy on the Ski Lift

Jill was faking of course!

Mr Ground Squirrel

There were several of these guys out and about. They were very friendly... in search of a snack I guess. These crazy people came by and warned us that they were aggressive and viscious.

Jill's answer was of course - I'm not scared of it if I can step on it!

A crazy flower

These were all over the area up at Mt Hood.

The Timberline lodge at Mt Hood

This time with ALOT less snow.

Mt Hood

Taking the Girls to Mt Hood

Today the girls and I went to Mt Hood. It was actually warmer than at the beach – crazy. We went around the lodge and played some ping pong ball. Jill played a diddy on the piano in the lodge, and got quite a reception from one of the employees – we did not know he was there. It was hysterical! There were more tourists and less skiers this time. Mostly snow boarders and old people. I expected it to be all green and pretty, but it was all brown and dreary looking. Unfortunately there was a big cloud over the top of Mt Hood so we could not see it all. We rode up in the chair lift, which was great fun… well… for Victoria and I. Jill was a bit freaked out.

After we left Mt Hood we went in search of a lake that we could see from up top. It turned out we did find it – it was Trillium Lake. It was so pretty down there.

We went downtown for dessert at Papa Haydn’s - yummy, and then we walked around a bit.

Playing around

Chasing balls and fetching the ball is hard work

Coming back with the ball

Bird Hunting

Jill loved chasing the birds too! Boy those dogs love her!

Mattie getting out and enjoying the water

She had just gotten a wee bit too wet for her liking.

Tennis Ball?

Yes... of course we had a tennis ball, and mommy was holding it to get their attention for this photo.

Hanging out

Mattie's flying ears

Muldoone covered in sand

Sherman covered in sand

Look at Shermie's little ear blowing in the wind, all tipped in sand!

It was really cold

Mul's flying ears

Muldoone watching the birds

Look at his little ear blowing in the wind!

Cold and windy girls

How cute are they!

The Haystacks in Astoria

There are huge holes in these rocks. Very cool. Apparently these were used in the movie Goonies.

Vic is full-up with Lunch
