Barbara & Wendy

They lived across the street from us in Bexhill. What fun gals!

The Mayfield Bunch

You'll never meet sweeter people. Mom is really lucky to have them!

Neyland Stadium

Gay Street Bridge

What's up with me and cities on rivers?

Henley Street Bridge

Ahhh... the Electric Ballroom

Lord Lindsey

Its Finally Empty

Jim's apartment was on the second floor. It stretched across that whole side of the building. I remember vividly the water dripping through the light fixture in the bedroom, the dramatically sunken floor, and the smell of natural gas.

Jim's Old Building in Maplehurst

Maplehurst Park

I always loved this little enclave of buildings on the hill overlooking the river.

The Bunny on the Balcony at the Swan

The Old Swan Hotel

K, Maki, & Zephyr

Zephyr

This is Maki and K's dog, and boy is he a big sweetie!

She'll never learn...

You show me the finger and you are guaranteed to get on the blog.

The House on Highbridge

When Jim and I lived here we planted 4 bradford pear trees. They were little twigs that we thought would never live, and look at them now!

Part of My Childhood

A Weird Building in Maryville

One of the Things Mom Misses

Our Old House on Bellview

The tree on the left is the tree that Jim and I planted with a spoon when we lived there. We rescued the scrawny little stowaway from a pot sitting outside of Mark's apartment. It is so big now. I love leaving something good behind when we leave

I also want to put that style of siding on our house.

Gorgeous!

Jill and Victoria

I love these two more than they will ever know! What fabulous sweetees!

A Cool Scale in the Grove Park

The View from the Grove Park

Grove Park Inn in Asheville

I love this place. I have always been drawn to it.

Lovely Mt Laurel

This stuff was of course all over the place!

Ceramic Bunny

He looks quite quizzical, eh?

The Deerpark Inn at Biltmore

This was one of the old barns. We had lunch here. It was pretty cool... we sat on an open veranda. It was nice and cool and a storm was coming in.

Biltmore Winery

Biltmore Winery

The winery is in the old dairy barn. This underground area was for moving around all of the waste.

Champagne a brewin'

This was in the Biltmore Winery.

Melrose Courtyard

I can still see Jim sitting on that bench if I squint my eyes.

Melrose

The good and the bad...

Hodges Library

Many hours were spent in this building.

Farmhouse Fraternity

They were always the joke of the fraternities. Okay... so they aren't even a real one, but they have at least gotten rid of the spray painted sign and the mechanical bull.

The Tennessee Theatre

Dogwood Arts Festival Bear

They used to be everywhere, but this was the only one I saw this time.

Sophie & Ken playing in the fountain at Market Square

The Sunsphere

Waffle House

One of the joys of being on pacific time.
